Not NY style and not trying to be. Pan pizza with cheese and sauce running edge to edge on a sturdy, crispy crust. A Berkshires original worth trying once, and then probably weekly.
Gravity Sourdough Pizza Co.✓
The crust comes from a 200-year-old sourdough starter, which is a flex most pizzerias can't match. Go on a Friday for Pizza Flights and try three different 8-inch pies.
Luisa's Brick Oven Pizzeria✓
I gave Luisa's red sauce and garlic flatbread high marks, but the eggplant parm was a greasy letdown and the meatballs tasted freezer-burned despite being labeled house-made.
