Chef Chan has been running this Charlotte staple since 1989, and it still hits exactly right. The beef chow fun is a massive pile of tender beef and silky rice noodles, the wontons in clear broth don't skimp, and the whole vibe (pagoda roof, golden dragon mural, red leather booths) feels like stepping into a cozy time capsule.
