Al-Basha Halal Grill rose from the literal ashes of its old location to deliver some of the best Egyptian-style Mediterranean food in Charlotte, with perfectly crispy falafel that crunch like a dream and a Mixed Grill loaded with juicy chicken, lamb, and beef kebabs over golden rice. The hummus and baba ghanouj are smooth and smoky, the service is warm and welcoming, and the whole spot just deserves way more love than it's getting. Full review on my Substack.
